Atrium Medical CenterProvides medical, surgical, oncology & telemetry nursing care for inpatient and observation patientsThe unit is equipped with telemetry monitorsPatients receiving vasoactive and/or anti-arrhythmic medications requiring cardiac monitoring can be accommodated; if such medications require titration, patients will be moved to a higher level of careClinical specialties include, but are not limited to general medical, pulmonary, geriatrics, oncology, palliative care, and end-of-life careThe unit provides inpatient oncology nursing care specializing in chemotherapy administration, central access devices, complex post-operative nursing care, infusion services, and the management of immunosuppressed patientsThere are 6 negative pressure rooms for patients requiring airborne isolationTotal capacity is 48 private rooms.
The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environmentThe RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of NursingThe RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of serviceThe RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentryThe RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional teamThe RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.
EducationMinimum Level of Education Required:
Associate degree in NursingLicensure/Certification/RegistrationValid Ohio RN licenseExperienceMinimum Level of Experience Required:
