com Franklin Ohio manufacturer and military supplier seeks hands-on Electrical and Mechanical Assemblers to produce and assemble electro-mechanical components and assemblies for power generation systems.
Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently.
Broad skill sets, self-motivated, and willingness to handle various tasks in a demanding, fast paced, climate-controlled environment.
The Electro-Mechanical Assemblers will be responsible for the following:
Willing to Train person with applicable skills Assemble in accordance with guidelines outlined by the company Assemble unit according to instructions, drawings, prints or layouts Rotate and cross train to familiarize assembly process with each area Use of hand and portable power tools, fixtures, etc.
Communicate clearly and effectively BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma 1 - 3 years' experience Ability to read and comprehend work instructions Ability to communicate effectively to all levels Ability to work in a cross functional team environment Effective written and verbal communications skills Ability to work independently Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test Position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by the export laws of the United States.
Candidates are required to provide proof of US citizenship Clean and Verifiable Driver's License PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, use hands to handle, or reach.
The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch.
At times the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level at times is moderate.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
