Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Specialist, Systems Engineer.
This position supports a variety of mission-critical programs with specific focus on Integration and Test of DoD Programs.
This individual will play a vital role in engaging with external vendors and internal customers to specify, develop, and characterize system requirements for DoD Applications.
This individual should have prior program experience with system development such as design, performance metrics, system requirements, and system integration and test.
The successful individual will bring their passion for innovation and be able to adapt, communicate, and apply their understanding of systems development to the application at hand.

Essential Functions:
Responsibilities include review, analysis, and understanding of program level objectives, system concept of operation, product architectures and interfaces, and subsystem equipment, functions, interfaces, and operations.
Develop test requirements, methods, and test solutions from requirements flowed down as part of the systems engineering team.
Design, develop, build, integrate, test, deliver, and support test sets / test enabling systems for engineering development and production programs.
Perform integration & testing of complex subsystems (e.
g.
, multi-mode multi-sensors, space launch vehicle avionics equipment) across all interfaces (i.
e.
, mechanical, electrical and software).
Develop and execute subsystem and/or system-level test plans/procedures and associated test readiness reviews.
Perform test data reduction, analysis, and test reporting; analyze failure data for trends, systemic issues, and reduction/elimination of test escapements.
Support development of acceptance test procedures, production test plans, and test documentation from design requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Must be willing and able to obtain a DoD security clearance, for which US citizenship is among the basic requirements, if one is needed in the future.
Active Security Clearance preferred.
Strong drive and sense of ownership.
Able to effectively communicate system architecture, design, and test plans with other functions including Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, Program Management, Suppliers, and Customers.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills through the preparation and presentation of technical reviews and program status.
MS Office products including MS Word and Excel.
Willingness and ability to travel are required.
Pre-employment federal level drug screening and background checks are standard.
Experience with DOORs, SysML and MBSE tools such as Cameo.
Aerospace / Defense or equivalent industry experience.
Graduate degree in engineering.
Demonstrated proposal-writing capability.
Demonstrated test writing procedure capabilities.
Experience working programs from the design stage through field testing.
