Plant Maintenance Technician -3rd shift
Franklin, OH Franklin, OH Full-time Full-time From $25 an hour From $25 an hour 1 hour ago 1 hour ago 1 hour ago Description The role of a Plant Maintenance Technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance for all equipment and facilities.
Duties to include but not limited to Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum safety, production and quality Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and process efficiency Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance / completion of PM's Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy Adhere to all work rules and procedures Other duties as assigned Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications Perform task of substantial variety/complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, materials, machines and equipment Electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repairs as needed Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubleshooting required Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental skills Strong technical problem solving skills Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills Satisfactory company work record, including attendance Ability to follow instruction verbal and written - good math, language and reading skills required Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels Forklift/Scissor/Boom certification - successful completion of Franklin certification training Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner Valid drivers' license Physical Requirements Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and exerts 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending High mental and visual effort required Able and willing to work overtime as required Safety / Hazards Steel toed shoes required in production area at all times due to physical hazards from moving equipment, machine parts and product ANSI Z87.
1 standard safety glasses required in production area due to dust, oils and debris Exposed to significant temperature changes in the facility - (heat in the summer / cold in the winter) Schedule Sunday-Wednesday 730pm- 6am Greenpoint Metals is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type:
