HDM DRIVER

POSITION SUMMARY
The Nutrition Van Driver will assure that meals are delivered to both home bound clients and any Nutrition Dining site on the drivers route. Hours are 9:00 am 2:00 pm Monday through Friday, plus attendance at any mandatory meetings as scheduled.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Delivers meals to clients on assigned route.
2. Completes required daily paperwork accurately and in timely manner. Daily signature sheet for verification of services delivered, monthly signature sheet for verification of services delivered, route sheets, odometer reading, gas usage, and route book etc.
3. Takes and records weekly/monthly food temperatures.
4. Distributes a monthly full menu and a monthly entr e selection menu to clients on route & is responsible for collection of the entr e selection menu within the time frame allotted and deliver to Nutrition Billing Office.
5. Maintains vehicle in a neat, clean, orderly fashion on daily basis thoroughly cleans weekly (i.e. swept out, windows cleaned, and ovens cleaned).
6. Wipes inside and outside of cooler daily; thoroughly cleans inside & outside weekly.
7. Reports vehicle problems/issues immediately to Driver Coordinator.
8 Is responsible for proper use, routine maintenance check, and inventory of vehicle equipment at all times.
9. Maintains clean and sanitary food modules at all times.
10. Is responsible for daily safety check of clients on route and reports any concerns to supervisor.
11. Notifies Nutrition Billing Office immediately in cases of emergency care needed, accidents, etc. major incidents. Completes incident reports of any client problems, food issues, and any unusual circumstances at end of route.
12. Prepares bags with side items to go with hot meal on daily basis.
13. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen work area, storage room and dock area.
14. Assists with pack out of home delivered meals daily.
15. Attends in-service training/meetings as scheduled.
16. Demonstrates ability to work well with clients, co-workers and Supervisor.
17. Is responsible for collection and secure return to Nutrition Billing office of any voluntary donation envelopes received from clients on route.
18. Uses cell phones and other electronic devices in accord with WCCS policy, state law and COA requirements.
19. Is able to complete meal route within designated time frame.
20. Complies with all WCCS policies and procedures, program service specifications and all HIPAA, confidentiality and Code of Ethics requirements.
21. Performs other duties as assigned or as needed to operate Nutrition Program and Agency.
Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Familiar with the Warren County area.
3. Safe driving record for the past three (3) years.
4. Valid, current Ohio drivers license and valid vehicle insurance.
5. Must be able to see and hear adequately to perform all job responsibilities
6. Able to read a thermometer and record accurate food temperatures.
7. Physically able to load/unload vans (50lbs), drive and get in and out of a van at frequent stops.
8. Ability to keep a high degree of concentration to avoid critical errors.
9. Sensitive to the needs of the elderly clients.
10. Ability to maintain accurate records.
11. Good written, verbal communication and listening skills.
12. Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
13. Work well with and be empathetic to the needs of the elderly.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
