Laser Operator Assistant
Job Description: Support the Laser Operator with the computer-controlled metal laser cutter.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for selecting material from the sheet rack to be laser cut based on the router requirements.
Load or unload materials onto the laser table and sorts cut parts into job order boxes.
Delivers cut parts to appropriate work centers.
Operate forklift
Reading and interpreting blueprints
Understands the specifications and procedures of the job.
Must retain the ability to lift fifty pounds.
Demonstrates a willingness to learn and can take instructions from the laser operator.
All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality.
Experience/Education
High school Diploma or GEDEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
