Quality Inspector


Job Description: Inspect aerospace parts for defects and deviations from specifications.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for receiving, in-process and final inspection of both parts and processes.
Monitors the quality system through audits.
Performs physical inspection of in-process and completed hardware.
Possesses a knowledge and understanding of tooling, gauges, specifications, procedures.
Reads prints and interprets quality specs.
Thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Capable of performing dimensional part inspections using standard gaging such as Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gages, etc., and Surface Plate Layout techniques.
Has an up to date working knowledge of different manufacturing processes.
Demonstrates strong communication and customer (both internal and external) interface skills.
All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency.
Experience/Education:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have Quality Inspection experience
Familiarity with manufacturing processes
Other Skills and Requirements:
Ability to work alone or in a team environment with minimal instructions
Ability to perform in a safe manner
Good Attendance with overtime requirements
Understanding of Statistical Analysis (SPC) preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
