Metal Fabricator (Bench)


Job Description: Fabricate sheet metal products to straighten or adjust aerospace brackets and tubes. Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer; or inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Use various gauges and tools
Understands the specifications and procedures that the print requires
Fabricate manufactured products by hand
Stretch, bend, straighten, shape, pound, or press metal
Examine products or work to verify conformance to specifications
Should be creative and be able to brainstorm and implement ideas for their own setup
Demonstrates a positive attitude, along with a willingness to learn and help out when needed
Maintain safe work environment
All of these objectives must be carried out in a safe and appropriate manner while maintaining an acceptable level of quality and efficiency.
Other Skills and Requirements
Basic Machining and tools skills needed
Must be detailed oriented
Experience/Education
High School Diploma or GED required
Should have sheet metal working skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
