Supplier Quality Engineer II

Responsibilities: Position primarily supports the Powertrain Assembly Plant production operations and may support the Military Assembly Plant as needed.  Supplier Selection & Evaluation: Perform Supplier Quality system assessments for risk and opportunity. Support Supplier selection process and technical reviews. Supplier Product Quality: Work with Suppliers through the supplier APQP process and perform PPAP / Sample submission reviews. Utilize AIAG methods of PFMEA, Control Plan and MSA throughout the process. Problem Solving: Assist in problem solving non-conformances and issuing Problem Resolution Reports (PRR) / Corrective Actions for Suppliers. Manage containment, follow- up and preventive actions while driving issues to resolution. Utilize Practical Problem Solving and Lean-Six-Sigma methodologies throughout the process. Supplier Monitoring: Track Supplier performance metrics and trends to assist in supply base improvement. New Model / Engineering Change: Provide support for Quality Department during new model changes and future product development. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Field required. ASQ and Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred. 7+ years' experience in the automotive field with a Supplier Quality focus. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and TS 16949 required. Working knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, Control Plan, Advanced Product Quality Planning (AIAG), Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP), dimensional GD&T check fixtures, measurement systems analysis and Statistical Process control. Strong working knowledge of MS Office Products, SAP, Team Center and Sharepoint. Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal. Proficiency in problem solving methodologies. Physical Effort: Limited Required Physical Activity Must be able to physically support a manufacturing environment through evaluation of on-the-floor issue resolution and problem solving. Travel - Occasional travel may be required to visit Supplier locations and other AMG locations. Working Conditions:  Office environment with moderate exposure to a manufacturing environment that requires necessary safety precautions be understood and adhered to.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
