Manufacturing Engineer

Position Summary: Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities:  Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment. Coordinates changes to assembly process flow, including process control plans. Carries out process improvements, problem resolution, project management and employee training. Improves manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency. Designs, develops and tests and/or sources and cost-justifies various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing processes. Prepares and maintains layouts of buildings, tools and equipment. Assures compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. Develops and documents quality system for new programs (control plan, PFMEA, process flow, work instructions, and inspection plans.) Identifies continuous improvement opportunities and implements quick win strategies as part of the GEP Management Operating System (MOS). Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Seven plus years of experience in powertrain assembly (engines and transmissions preferred). Working knowledge of MS office applications (MS Excel, Word, Access, Powerpoint). AutoCAD proficiency preferred. Technical skills in manufacturing processes and methods including flow, layout, assembly and production equipment. Problem analysis and problem resolution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
